This coffee roasts on a WEEKLY SCHEDULE. WEEKLY orders close on Sundays at 3:00 PM ET and are roasted on Mondays. WEEKLY roasted coffee ships on Wednesdays. All coffee ordered after the WEEKLY Sunday 3:00 PM ET deadline will go into the following week's production.

A couple of years ago, we met Jessica and her dad Daryl at CXNats in Louisville. We were brewing coffee for our amigos SRAM and CX fans during Nats week. The Becks were this rad little badass girl CX racer from New England & her super supportive dad. Hell to yeah! They both dug great coffee and CX. Instant simpatico.

Jessica is like any normal teen today. She’s smart, creative, outspoken, and a badass bike racer. And she’s incredibly brave being out and a vocal social justice campaigner since she was a youngster. Did we mention Jessica likes coffee?

Jessica's lucky to have a caring and supportive family who found gender-affirming health care and started preparing for adolescence and beyond.

Dysphoria - the feeling that your body doesn’t match with your identity - is a very real affliction and can lead to depression and social anxiety. It’s a major challenge for Jessica, who’s known who she is for +10 years.

Like all things health care, gender-affirming surgery for teens isn’t covered by health insurance and it’s expensive…REALLY expensive. And that’s where we come in. We can help this awesome girl and her family.

The Backstory
We were OUTRAGED and PISSED in the wake of the Arkansas State Government passing hate laws against transgender and gay kids, adults, and their families. We want all bike races moved out of Arkansas full stop. And the bike industry’s silence was telling (Pssst, your hate is showing.). And HELL NO we ain’t going! STILL.

We wanted to do something meaningful. RESPECT Boltcutter Cycles! So we stepped back and LISTENED to the transgender community and our friends.

Our amiga Tara Seplavy (TW, IG) advised, “Do something grassroots. Real grassroots. National organizations have their corporate backers. They’re good. Get real grassroots. Hey - I know someone. Let me ask them.”

Boom! Tara reintroduced me to Daryl - “Hey we know each other!” Several phone conversations later with Daryl and Shelly and here we are...humbled to play a small part in helping out Jessica and her family.
